Costa involved bringing the ball out, passes it to Cody, running forward and as the crowd sees it unfolding rises the stadium fills with sound as Cody lifts a great ball in front of Costa still steaming ing in who lashes an unstoppable volley past an unmoving keeper. It's doing the basics like marking from corners that can be sorted on the training ground. That's what a new coach should be sorting, no one is expecting miracles but that second goal is a defensive disgrace.

Hard to say but he did spill a shot in the first half (which we ought to have scored from really) - I know nothing otherwise however

If anything should highlight Thelwell suitability for his role it was signing off on a four year extension for a player who shouldn't be anywhere near an automatic starter by the kick off of 17/18 (preferably sooner)
