Ex-Wolf Watch

Lots of ex wolves players really seem to have loved their time with us always wonder why, when we’re a scruffy city on the edge of a massive urban sprawl, has to be the support and the backroom staff at the training ground

And lots of lovely countryside around for them to live in and enjoy with zero hassle.

Players don't live in Bilston, just as Spurs players don't live in Tottenham. And honestly, Wolverhampton is no worse than any other large industrial city - and better than quite a few!

State the obvious on where the players live, you’ll be telling me next water wet, fire hot

At least with Saunders we can all acknowledge how much better things are *11 years on.

Would never have anticipated several good seasons in the Prem back then.

Edit: I'm still stuck in 2023.

Then perhaps stating that you don't understand why players like playing for a side in a "scruffy city" (your words) isn't the best idea if you know already that it's nothing to do with the scruffy parts?
So why do ex players and managers rate Wolverhampton then?

Interesting to see that Nunes can’t even get a start for City in an easy FA Cup tie.

Perhaps he’s being an equally obnoxious wanker there, too.

It would be fair to say Big George wasn't the most skilful of Wolves players in the last 20 years, but no one could ever deny he put 100% effort into his appearances for the Old Gold and as such he earned the supporters appreciation and respect which still plays out today.

Talking absolute shit.

For a start why would we try to 'sell you to Shrewsbury' who would give us no money rather than Cardiff who did or Hull who were a newly promoted PL club who were interested and would?

Still you sure proved us wrong as we er, won the league after you left. Doesn't Mick look a fool now.
