We're not in a position to score Benno's winner @ Brizzle (wasn't it?) if we don't sub Cav on. He changed that match completely despite the numeric disadvantage (finished 9 v 10 IIRC).

He's not some all-time great but he had qualities that we've missed in his absence.

Yeah Cav was great when he came on. I remember Costa getting a lot of flak though, despite him running himself into the ground that game.

We had ten men for pretty much the entire game. Then they had the GK sent off just before we equalised.

I love him. I'll never forgive Luiz for what he did or Lopetegui for the disrespect he showed one of our greatest ever players. Should have got a proper send off but was made to sit on the bench by a sociopath.

As an old fan I loved the 70s but I actually feel quite lucky to have seen the Nuno era Wolves with my boys. Not sure I'll see it as good again.
It's not just the football, which was great but also the feeling that team were really actually playing for us as well as themselves.
