    Wolves 0-1 Bournemouth: Verdict Thread

A poor result given the team we put out. I only saw bits of the first half but our defending drastically needs to improve for next season. I didn't see the disallowed goal live but on the Twitter clip I genuinely couldn't pick out any foul whatsoever.

    Wolves 0-2 Arsenal: Verdict Thread

Gave it a decent go with the personnel available and got unlucky at both ends for the Gomes shot and goal. 2-0 flattered them ultimately. Some good performances out there, not least Gomes who was excellent again. MOTM.

Nottingham Forest 2-2 Wolves: Verdict Thread

A decent point given how the majority of the game went, how little control we had, and coming from behind. Though for all Forest's dominance they created very little chances from open play. Their 2nd goal came from purely jammy deflections straight into the path of their players. Cunha the game...

Wolves 1-2 West Ham: Verdict Thread

A first half full of promise but we don't have the personnel to capitalise on such a performance right now. West Ham adjusted and were the better team 2nd half. A bit of luck with the 2nd goal and we were ridiculously unlucky with that offside decision. The season continues to peter out with a...

Aston Villa 2-0 Wolves: Verdict Thread

A good dominant start to the game but we ultimately fluffed our one big chance from 5 yards out when it was easier to score. Once they scored it was over as a contest as then they were we'll on top. Another game ruined by a small squad and injuries to all our three first choice attackers...

[FA Cup Quarter-Final] Wolves 2-3 Coventry: Verdict Thread

Almost got away with it, but the defending let them score twice in injury time. Just not good enough unfortunately other than a 10 min spell where we scored twice. Squad depth bites us in the arse again. Cheers Jeff. Sa MOTM.

    Wolves 2-1 Fulham: Verdict Thread

Excellent result under the circumstances and that dreadful first half. 4 at the back not the correct call but we got lucky they didn't score. By far the better side in the second half though so fair play to the manager and players for adjusting and turning it around. RAN doing his best Stephen...

    Newcastle 3-0 Wolves: Verdict Thread

Not our day unfortunately. Two slices of luck for their goals and more first team players having to come off to protect them from injuries. Which is a growing list seemingly. Not a great performance either. Plenty of possession away from home which isn't like us, and it led to them scoring from...

Wolves 1-0 Sheff Utd: Verdict Thread

An "attritional" performance at best. Worse than Brentford really, but we managed to nick a goal and then basically tried to hang on and hope they couldn't score. Risky and not good to watch but I'll ultimately take any sort of win against a team like this at home. We missed Cunha's ability to...

    Tottenham 1-2 Wolves: Verdict Thread

Excellent away performance. Are we turning this away jinx around now? Gomes absolutely brilliant today and an easy MOTM. Could and should have scored more to make the last 10 mins more relaxing but a great result. Double over Chelsea, double over Spurs!

    The Summer 2024 Transfer Thread.

May as well start a new thread for the end of this season. Neto again linked away today under the guise of FFP by The Sun, which we know is a bollocks reason. Elsewhere, Barcelona have apparently stuck a €100m (£85m) price tag on Frenkie De Jong. Neto is a better player than him with a...

    Wolves 0-2 Brentford: Verdict Thread

Disappointing day. Dreadful first half and deserved to be losing. Dominated possession 2nd half once we put an extra attacker on and went 4-2-3-1 but still very little to show for all that. Bit unlucky for the chalked off goal, who knows if that then lifts us and we go on to win. Very...

    Chelsea 2-4 Wolves: Verdict Thread

Fabulous result. First win at Stamford Bridge since 1979 and we did it in style. Got the right team and set up this week and pressing them high was the perfect way to play. Our front three continue to look dangerous at all times and Cunha is becoming a revelation in how much goes through him...

Wolves 3-4 Man Utd: Verdict Thread

Weird game annoying to throw it away so quickly twice after scoring in the second half. 1st half we were so bad we could have been 4 or 5 nil down. 2nd half we possibly edged it but somehow clawed our way back from the dead twice. And still managed to lose. Defending was just terrible for all...

[FA Cup 4th Rnd] West Brom 0-2 Wolves: Verdict Thread

Almost perfect away performance against lower league opposition. 2 goals and a clean sheet. Revenge for a few bad results in that ground. Doc and Cunha MOTM.

    Brighton 0-0 Wolves: Verdict Thread

A very good point considering recent games against Brighton. But also very frustrating we couldn't take one of the chances we made. The game was there to be won and we more than matched Brighton. I think we missed a No.9 through the middle tonight. With Hwang I think we would have won. Shame...

[FA Cup 3rd Rnd Replay] Wolves 3-2 (AET) Brentford: Verdict Thread

Result is all that matters. Sounded a topsy-turvy performance. As we couldn't watch anywhere I'll leave the verdicts to the guys and gals who braved the sub-zero temps.
