Just how good were/was/is/are (Wolves Edition)

People cheat and use the Internet these days. Enough people on here will tell you I've been doing this for years, well before phones even connected online properly.

It'll come in handy one day.

Don't think I missed a home game from 1990-1998 (missed some midweek games in my first two seasons as my parents thought a 7-8 year old shouldn't be out until nearly 10pm, the bastards). Then missed Swindon at home because I was on holiday in Mallorca. Nothing then until I went to uni in 99.

Missed about three between 2004 and 2012. Boycott under Saunders. Not many missed since, definitely not a single one since 2017.

88-97 for me, but went to most from 85 onwards. About half of away games too I’d say. Then very sporadic until 2017.

Aways have always been peaks and troughs for me. Did a load when I was 16/17/18, did all the northern games when I lived in Manc but not much else, back again regularly between 2006 and 2008, then I got really ill so I couldn't go anywhere. I do maybe 2 or 3 a season max now and that's enough.

I've got bipolar and severe anxiety so I can only really go if I'm with people I trust. If I'm at a home game and I don't feel well then it's easy for me to get home. Not so good if you're in Middlesbrough.

We have attended some decent aways together over the years Dan. We did that abomination at Stoke for a start.

2008-2009 I did every home and missed about three aways. Absolutely loved it.

Some great memories mate.

If we can do a Champions League away then I might retire from them.

It might well happen. Just got to keep winning. If we did make it and ended up in Pot 4 (ie not winning the Europa) I would be praying for Barcelona, Real, Bayern or Dortmund. All of those would be ridiculous and a decent allocation. To be honest, if we got those I would sell a kidney for a ticket.

Imagine getting Barca, Real, Bayern or the like at home and there only being between 0 and 25% capacity? You wait 40 years, more for some and then that happens.

Boris will have it all open by then...

Group stage isn't even going to start until late October. And he will want everything looking very normal and keep schtum about the casualty figures.
