Well we managed to thwart Newcastle's game pland and seemingly without paying too much regard for them played to our strengths and played to our own plan.
Terrific game. Sopnded like a home game whic as it was in front of about 44,000 Newcastle fans at the top of the league is a big thing.

I'd be interested to know what people though the difference was from Tuesday, having Saiss securing midfield with edwards applying pressure?

Can someone put a 'w' into the home team please?

Well, we've already taken the P out. All credit where it's due: no way I was expecting that, and it sounds as though we deserved it, too. Well done all round. Optimism revived.

Saiss seemed to make a difference. Really pleased they had the character to bounce back. Bonus points

Saiss sounded good from the comms. Look forward to the highlights and reports from these who went.

Looked like an easy start for us on paper but we've played the teams who are currently 1st, 3rd, 4th, 7th and 9th (could go 5th later) out of eight games so it hasn't panned out that way and with that in mind the points return looks ok now.

Great response to Tuesday's disaster.

Saiss is going to be absolutely crucial to us this season if we plan on doing anything.

Seems that the Wolves that went to Blues turned up and like i said in the build up thread if they did then they had a chance. Tuesday is behind us now and it sounds as if Saiss is the player we thought and he will be massive. Hope we win Tuesday but today was the big one and the response exactly what we wanted.

Really pleased with the result, after Barnsley was very worried about today. Well done.

Remember next time not to give up your ticket for some woman....

more than important win, didnt see that one coming after 0-4 Barnsley at home..just reminds me of how the championship is , so unpredictable.. *Happy*

Our last two games sum the Championship up perfectly. Anyone can beat anyone on their day, and that's why it is so important not to kneejerk after one bad result. I hope the people who had already started to consider Walter's position after Tuesday night have a long, hard look at themselves. Three points separate 3rd - 11th. Crazy league.

Delighted with the result today - well done to all involved (and I include Walt in that). Saiss + Costa are going to be great this season for us. Sounds like Jon Dadi ran himself in to the ground, again.

Big win for Walter was that. After the last week this game was a big test of his character.

I said this morning I'd take a close win today and a dicking Tuesday. If that's what happens I'll still be more than happy.

Ha, I beat you to it, in some degree
