Free agent. Would be great cover for up front :coffee1:

Looks like early 70s Freddie Mercury, plays like early 70s Freddie Mercury.

I'm hoping this is just a fishing trip and Irish_wolf is laughing away and counting the bites he's collected... If not... Fuck no.

If we were after that type of player I'd rather get Lafferty in on loan

And stunt Bright further? No thanks.

BARCELONA DRAW UP SHORTLIST FOR NOLITO ALTERNATIVES
By Tyron McGee 23 hours ago Read time: 2 mins 613 reads
Barcelona have been unable to register new signings throughout the entirety of 2015, but with the embargo finally coming to an end, the club are putting together a shortlist of players to sign in January.

Nolito and Philippe Coutinho are two players who have been linked heavily over the last week, though the latter is likely to be a summer acquisition should they decide to pursue a move for the player.

The former, an ex-Barcelona B player, has spoken of his admiration for current first-team manager Luis Enrique, who he worked with at both Barcelona B and Celta. He further added to the speculation by saying Barcelona are ‘the only club‘ that he’d leave Celta for.

As a safety net, Barcelona have a three-man shortlist of players they will actively try to sign should they fail with a move for Nolito in January.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are looking for a player that wouldn’t cost them more than €10million, and can play in an attacking position on the left flank.

Some of the potential players touted for a move were Jonathan Soriano, David Villa and Sergio Garcia, but two made moves elsewhere in the summer while Soriano’s switch to Bayer Leverkusen fell through.

The three names on the list for Barcelona are Ezequiel Lavezzi, Giovinco and Georgias Samaras. Lavezzi is the priority, and with a lack of game time at PSG, a move could be more likely at a cheaper price. The Argentine is also out of contract with PSG next summer.

Giovinco only joined MLS side Toronto in January, and has been a fantastic addition to the Canadian side, scoring 21 goals in his 30 games so far.

The last is Georgios Samaras. The Greek winger was last playing for Premier League club West Brom, but cancelled his contract in the summer and has been a free agent since.

Post of the year that is. Fucking ace.

Do you have a link? The cynic in me would argue the lack of one could be a copy and paste job with a few added words here or there... Either that or the journalist ought to hot step it over to the E&S for a job with the the clowns at that place...
