Bolton 2 - 2 Wolves - Verdict thread

Fan Cam for the first goal...

Btw - Im putting Afobe as my Man Of the match. He was asked to play out wide and although he didn't come into the game much the second half switch next to Dicko, he looked the only one looking to move the ball forward and try and create.

Oh and one thing that's pissing my off is the constant tactically switch of Doherty for Iorfa. It serves no purpose whatsoever, we know what is thinking is but Iorfa gets forward equally as much as Doherty and at least has the legs to get back in. Please stop this madness Jackett.

Never seen Jackett so animated and pumped up for a post match interview especially about "our not doing enough first half). Imagine training is going to be pretty intense this week.

1st goal, good ball well taken, great goal
2nd goal, great strike, sent us wild

Banged my knees on the chair infront, hugged a bloke I didn't know, loved it

But
This doesn't hide the fact we were piss poor today

Agree the substitution actually interupted us as Iorfa was one of the best on the pitch

One of the things I have noticed about KJ is he always tells it as it is after the game. None of the "we should have won by 6" Saunders type shite. However he also needs take accountability for some of his criticisms of the team. In the last 3 games he's spoken about not playing with enough intensity and not enforcing ourselves on the opposition yet nothing changes

I thought the same last week but he wasn't injured last week, and the substitution was repeated today so its a tactical thing from Jackett.

Thought he looked as if he was on something - agree that those he considers to have been below par should keep a low profile for the next few days

Agree with this but no doubt he is trying to address this problem but you can take a horse to water blah blah.
Personally I think we still could do with a leader on the pitch preferably in the form of a decent CM

KJ also said he could not see any players coming in. So the current group are entrusted to see us aim for the play offs.

hi all

sad to see the slide down a few spots

haven't been paying much attention if i'm honest since I haven't been able to get the games but glad to see wolves still in it

Btw I thought Afobe's new chant was dire. It'll never catch on.

I thought Ikeme could have done better with both goals. How their keeper hasn't come out to clear the ball for Dicko's goal I'll never know. Cracking finish by Henry though and you could tell how much that meant to him.

Yep our first is a bit ridiculous. Almost on 6 yard box by the time Dicko gets there! I agree that both their goals were poor as well
