Ex-Wolf Watch

When Doherty lined out in the recent International matches he looked like someone that had lost a lot of weight , looked quite gaunt actually .
 
Owen Otasowie once again entirely absent from the Bruges squad that just beat Atl. Madrid 2-0. Looks like he’s played all of half a games worth of first team football since leaving Wolves. Yeah the recruitment team deserve shit at times but what insane business that sale was. £3.5m no?

Bright vibes from early on, came to the game relatively late in this day and age, got to a certain level and went to his head. Enough out there in that final season to see he was to put it politely hard work

If we are all going to give out about Lage throwing players under a bus , then surely the same should be said about Conte here . That's a pretty rough comment on Doherty straight to the media .
You talk as a Manager to players privately , explaining why they are not starting and telling them what they need to do to improve . At the end of a season then if the situation has not improved you can listen to offers from other clubs .
But please keep those comments away from the media if you are a Manager .

Maybe people expect that from the likes of Joey Barton and maybe even Conte , but we all gave out about it re Lage , so the same applies to Conte .
 
Couple of things really.

1) Doherty isn't fit to start games, or at least Conte doesn't think so. He was directly asked why he wasn't playing and he answered, a bit tactlessly perhaps but basically the thrust is he can't pick him because he isn't currently capable of doing what he asks of his players. A million miles away from some of the shit Lage said

2) No-one here is really applauding Conte, we just think it's funny as many of us think Doherty is fucking wank and have for years

Honestly think he would be a perfect appointment for them.

Buying an entirely new squad from scratch in one transfer window is an insane thing to have done, but it's happened, and now they need someone who knows how to come into a club and get players working together as a team. I think he could keep them up, provided he's recovered from his Wolves and Spurs burnout.

Conte comes across as a bit of a twat imo, however he is an extremely successful twat which mitigates it I suppose.

Conte didn’t actually say it how it was written. The video I watched cut off mid sentence so don’t know what he actually said.
 
IF he's doing that for free for the charity then he goes up in my estimation as not even he is deluded enough to believe it'll be a free ride. If he's charging though he lives in the puddle I already had him in
 
2 sides to every story eh, will it be his and the wrong one, wonder if he’ll bring out the Brian Clough story, or tell us about that time he got done for drink driving?
