Sounds like he'd fit right in at Villa - he'd certainly match their average fan with all four main points.

He was properly stitched up by them. He inherited a squad well past its best and was allowed two signings, Mata who is still there and Fellaini who isn’t long gone. Compare that with what his successors have spent and he was on a hiding to nothing.

From what Graeme Jones was saying in an interview today it seems that he may be part of the new coaching team too
 
Steven Gerrard, Paulo Fonseca, Kaspar Hjulmand, Thomas Frank, Roberto Martinez, Graham Potter and Ralf Hassenhutl are names said to be in the running for Villa at the moment
 
That's who I wanted us to go for before it was clear there wasn't a recruitment process. Be interesting to see how he does, although naturally I hope it's badly
 
I dont see it yet with Stevie G. 1 club in England and 1 club in Scotland. Why would he go to villa? He has everything to lose.

John Terry/ I could see that but he is not ready for that job either. Franke would be wonderful. Just hear him talking about a little club at B6 🤣 🤣
 
I've read Newcastle are getting the DoF Chelsea had when they found Salah, De bruyne, Coutais, Kante, Lukaku etc
 
I thought that Steve Walsh (no not that one) was championing Kante for Leicester when he was playing for Caen.

To be honest I could of found them by playing Football Manager - hardly hidden gems.

Martinez would be my choice, his team's can't defend and Villas defenders are also shit.
