Can't say he wasn't given time. A lot of clubs would have done it at least a couple of games earlier

Hardly a shock. Levy isnt known for patience

Barnsley Football Club can confirm the departure of First Team Head Coach, Markus Schopp, with immediate effect.

Romano reporting that Conte has agreed to join Spurs. That will be entertaining..

7 defeats in a row!

Stupid appointment by Levy. Nuno has a style opposite to that of Spurs or what Spurs fans demand. Nuno, however should look at his own style that he imprints on the teams he manages. His cautious approach costs him.

Hopefully it's the last we see of him in the PL, although I can also see him rocking up at a Palace-level team at some point

Unfortunately I know a lot of Spurs fans and they absolutely HATE Nuno and the style of football he has produced. It couldn't have gone much worse for him, but I feel for him on a personal level (not that I know the guy), because he does seem like a top bloke.

Hopefully he can take some time away from the game with his family and come back to management in a nice warm country where he can succeed.

Most Spurs fans saw Nuno as Mourinho lite, so were against him from the start. Saw plenty of SM stuff last week begging for BFS tho...

Newcastle beckons? Similar situation to when he walked into Wolves. Recent takeover, crap results, opportunity to build the club up with money to spend.

One of the thoughts I'd had which is probably a million miles away from being right is that the reason Nuno didn't do as well towards the end of his tenure was that jotas form fell off a cliff and was then sold.

Jotas goals from nothing and link up with Jimenez was crucial. When we lost that we lost our edge and teams stopped fearing us and we lost belief.

That crossed my mind. Think though given their current situation their next appointment will be more Zenga than Nuno.

Oddly enough I was thinking this earlier. Nuno's ppg with jota compared to without would be pretty interesting
