And Doherty is really pissing me off now. He gets into good position with no pressure twice and with men in the box he fails to find anything close to a man every time. Then they break and he just fucking ambles back half arsed.

I said on Friday I'd take a point. But bloody hell that's disappointing in the manner it happened. 2nd half we couldn't keep the ball to save our lives for a good long stretch, it was reminiscent of the old backs to the wall approach from McCarthy's teams. We should be and are better than that - straight from the kickoff after they scored we started pinging it around again like it was nothing! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh

Still created a lot of good chances though. I guess Arsenal could probably point to Aubameyang's miss as he would probably bury that 8-9 times out of 10 but equally that was basically the only good chance they created - we probably should've been 2 up at that point anyway. And Morgan was SO unlucky at the end, damn.

I'm sure come tomorrow after I've calmed down this will all be fine, and it's encouraging that we played that well after a dodgy stretch of results. Bodes well going forwards.

Really weird. We were actually really poor with the ball in the second half, but are still coming away from that game gutted that we didn’t win. For all of Arsenal’s possession they didn’t actually create a lot (bar the one that hit the post) - but we could have stole it at the end. Gutted.

Think that first half is as well as we have played this season. So organised, good in possession and pretty devastating in transition from defence to attack. We could and should have been at least 2-0 up.

Second half I agree with Paddy who mentioned about nerves, I think there were signs of this in the first half. I don't think we are playing with full confidence yet - when that happens I think we will go up another gear.

Thought Jonny, Joao, Raul and Helder were all fantastic really. No poor performances from anyone at all.

And just imagine if MGW's effort dropped in off the bar. Fuck I thought it was in at first as well.

Most of the coverage will be about how poor Arsenal were vs how good we were. Its just one of those things.

Seems to be a mix of their fans acknowledging we played really well and moaning at us for time wasting 2nd half. Costa was a bit poor for it and Rui took his time with the goalkicks but honestly they can fuck off.

God I hate Arsenal.
