One vote, I've only stuck up the main contenders in the poll.

Justify your choice if you wish.

Plenty of genuine candidates for the second year running, I have gone for Coady. Leader, heartbeat of the team, some outstanding displays, fronts up when we lose, in a mythical world where this is 2017/18 then he'd be going to a World Cup for sure.

It’s great that we have so many to genuinely choose from tbh.

Moutinho for me, his performance levels have been so high all season. Fantastic footballer.

It's only three years since I voted for Jack Price on the basis that I hated pretty much everyone else :icon_lol:

Coady for me too, second year running again too.

He's the heart of the team and consistently one of our best players. He typifies everything about Nuno's Wolves.

Mout is getting my vote. The sexy beast deserves it.

He understands my decision

This!

Gone for Boly. Consistently excellent all season. Even when we had a bad spell was probably our best player still. Makes that odd mistake but more than makes up for it with his all round quality. If we can get a right sided centre back of his level we are in business.

As mentioned, Joao, Raul and Coady all close behind. Think Diogo would win easily if he had played as he has since December all season.

Such a tough call.

Considered Moutinho, Raúl and Boly but in the end went for Patrício. IMO he's had the same kind of impact on our season that Matt Murray did in Mick McCarthy's first year as Wolves boss. Won us so many points with brilliant saves, especially in the first 2 or 3 months. That save against Sterling is one of the best I've seen live.

Jiménez for me, take him out of the team then you lose his goals, workrate and off the ball defensive play which would be irreplaceable. Add in his ability to keep himself conditioned for the season off the pitch to scarcely miss any games despite the work he does. I also rate his mindset and willingness to gamble the move to wolves and ambition to reward our faith in him now he’s been purchased.

Jimenez for me

Coady and then Boly . On that list though it could go to any bar Patricio, who has been good but not outstanding ( he has appeared on the blame thread to often) or Neves ,who hasn't hit the heights of last season.

Raul (si senor)

From Boly and honourable mention in despatches for Doherty as well.

Raul for me. His goals, assists and all round contribution have been pivotal to our success this season. Moutinho, Boly and Coady all strong cases too, but Jiminez has made us a top half, contenders for the Europa league side. We wouldn't be that without him.

First half of the season I would have voted for Boly, and based on the second half I'd have gone for Jota who has been on another level since December. Overall though I'm torn between Moutinho and Jimenez, both have been fantastic. Moutinho is easily the best footballer I have seen play for the club, but in terms of how crucial they are to the team I'm voting for Raul.

I’ve gone with Doherty purely for the fact he’s improved so much in the top flight. I thought he’d be a liability and would cost us dramatically (to the extent Zubar once did)

Not sure he has improved that much. He was very good in the championship last season and has continued at the same level.

Went to go Moutinho, then Si Senor but ended up going for Jota. He’s absolutely exploded since the win over Chelsea and he’s been phenomenal. I can see why people don’t vote for him at the moment as he was very quiet for the first few months but he’s been worth his weight in gold since he found his form and his work rate has to be seen to be believed. Love the little fucker.

Toss up between Raul and Moutinho for me, its a tough call, judt Raul I think but its very close

Voted Raul, whilst I think João is pretty much the best Wolves player I've seen I think Jimenez has had a greater impact and we miss him more when he doesn't play.

A tough decision (for the right reasons, unlike about 6 years ago) but have gone with Moutinho. A real class player and has delivered big time for us, huge gap to fill in a couple of years time
